Great news. Rewards you earn never expire. Your $5 sign-up bonus is valid for one year from the date of issuance.

Rewards do not accrue on Island House Hotel or Pine Cottage Bed & Breakfast guest rooms until the member has checked out of the guest room and will not appear in the membership’s transaction history until the following day. 906 Rewards Club members must have stayed in a guestroom at Island House Hotel or Pine Cottage Bed & Breakfast and personally paid for the guest room in full to receive rewards. Rewards are not issued for no-show guestrooms at Island House Hotel or Pine Cottage Bed & Breakfast, even if the room is paid in full. If more than one member shares a guest room, only the member who pays for the guest room will receive rewards. If more than one member pays for one shared guest room, only one member will receive rewards for the guestroom at our discretion. Members can earn rewards for up to three guest rooms per night at Island House Hotel or Pine Cottage Bed & Breakfast.

Guest rooms booked through an online booking service or travel agent are excluded from earning rewards. Booking online reservations through the Island House Hotel or Pine Cottage Bed & Breakfast reservation center are eligible for rewards. Rewards can only be awarded if the bill is paid for by the 906 Rewards Club member and the bill is on one check using one form of payment by the member. The member must be present.

Rewards do not accrue for special events until after the event. Rewards accrue at participating shopping or dining venues instantly at the time of payment when the membership account number is provided.

By providing your enrollment information, you are opting in to “906 Rewards Club” program communications from our family of brands.

An individual joining must not be listed as a primary or secondary member on any other accounts.

A valid and unique phone number is required. Multiple accounts cannot share one phone number.

Gratuities, taxes, fees, gift cards, and gift certificates are excluded from earning or redeeming rewards.

906 Rewards Club rewards will not be issued if your guestroom, meal, or other purchases are paid for by… any individual not on the account, a trade group association or company, as part of a convention or group business meeting (defined as a private function or conference). All group functions are excluded from earning rewards.

Island House Hotel, Inc. reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify the terms, conditions, and awards of the 906 Rewards Club or to terminate the program at any time. In the event the program is discontinued, a termination notice is given, and members will have 90 days to redeem rewards. Any rewards that have not been redeemed will become null and void after such date.

At no time shall 906 rewards exceed $2000 on an annual basis.

Island House Hotel, Inc. and its subsidiaries reserve the right to change, limit, modify, or cancel 906 Rewards Club program rules, including the amount of rewards issued for any purchase; regulations, benefits, conditions of participation, and reward in whole or part at any time, even though changes may affect the value of rewards already accumulated.

906 Rewards Club reserves the right to cancel any membership and any and all unredeemed rewards and rewards collected by any member for reasons that include, but are not limited to: violation of any terms and conditions; misrepresentation of any information or misuse of this program; violation of a federal, state or local law or regulation in connection with use of membership privileges; failure to pay for hotel, restaurant or any other charges within Island House Hotel, Inc. and all subsidiaries; a check to any Island House Hotel, Inc. subsidiary that is returned for insufficient funds; commitment of fraud or abuse involving any portion of this program; any attempt to misrepresent the amount of 906 Rewards on an account at time of purchase at any Island House Hotel, Inc. subsidiaries; action, in any other way, to the detriment of the 906 Rewards Club program, Island House Hotel, Inc. or any of its subsidiaries.

Island House Hotel, Inc. and all subsidiaries are not responsible or liable for misdirected emails or correspondence sent through the postal service. It is the responsibility of the 906 Rewards Club member to make certain all account contact information is kept current.

While it is currently free to join, 906 Rewards Club reserves the right to change membership fees at any time.

The rewards listed in any 906 Rewards Club membership’s transaction history are subject to change to reflect actual stay information, returned merchandise, program changes, discounts, and coupons.

906 Rewards Club rewards are non-assignable and non-transferable and can be collected and redeemed only by the individual member.

906 Rewards Club rewards may be subject to tax liability. Any tax liability, including disclosure, connected with the receipt or use of rewards is the responsibility of the member.

There are no blackout dates for 906 Rewards Club members who want to redeem 906 Rewards for lodging, shopping, or dining anywhere within the participating properties. Some restrictions apply due to sold-out dates and allotment of space.

Rewards will not accrue for any eligible purchases made while a 906 Rewards Club membership is expired or inactive. They also cannot be redeemed if the membership is expired or inactive. 906 Rewards are valid for one year after the date of issuance. Expired rewards cannot be reapplied to membership/gift cards.

Rewards and Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash.

906 Rewards are issued to the primary member’s phone number. 906 Rewards can be partially redeemed in separate locations within participating Island House Hotel, Inc. properties. 906 Rewards Club is not responsible for any 906 Rewards that are redeemed without the member’s permission.

906 Rewards cannot be redeemed on expired memberships. All rewards are forfeited on expired memberships.

Cancellation of 906 Rewards Club membership: 906 Rewards Club members may cancel their membership at any time by emailing info@906rewards.com. The 906 Rewards Club membership will be deactivated at the time of cancellation, with loss to all accrued reward. Island House Hotel, Inc. at its sole discretion, may terminate memberships without notice if continued use would violate any terms of the program.

Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Island House Hotel, Inc. and its affiliates from and against any and all claims, costs, proceedings, demands, losses, damages, and expenses (including, without limitation, reasonable attorney’s fees and legal costs) of any kind or nature, arising from or relating to, any actual or alleged breach of these terms and conditions by you or anyone using your account. If we assume the defense of such a matter, you will reasonably cooperate with us in such defense.

Arbitration agreement and waiver of certain rights

You and Island House Hotel, Inc. agree that we will resolve any disputes between us through binding and final arbitration instead of through court proceedings. You and Island House Hotel, Inc. hereby waive any right to a jury trial of any claim. All controversies, claims, counterclaims, or other disputes arising between you and Island House Hotel, Inc. relating to these terms and conditions, the program or the related websites (each a “claim”) shall be submitted for binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (“AAA Rules”). The arbitration will be heard and determined by a single arbitrator. The arbitrator’s decision in any such arbitration will be final and binding upon the parties and may be enforced in any court of the competent jurisdiction. The parties agree that the arbitration will be kept confidential and that the existence of the proceeding and any element of it (including, without limitation, any pleadings, briefs or other documents submitted or exchanged and any testimony or other oral submissions and awards) will not be disclosed beyond the arbitration proceedings, except as may lawfully be required in judicial proceedings relating to the arbitration or by applicable disclosure rules and regulations of securities regulatory authorities or other governmental agencies.

If you demonstrate that the costs of arbitration will be prohibitive as compared to the costs of litigation, Island House Hotel, Inc. will pay as much of the administrative costs and arbitrator’s fees required for the arbitration as the arbitrator deems necessary to prevent the cost of the arbitration from being prohibitive. In the final award, the arbitrator may apportion the costs of arbitration and the compensation of the arbitrator among the parties in such amounts as the arbitrator deems appropriate.

Neither you nor Island House Hotel, Inc. may act as a class representative or private attorney general, nor participate as a member of a class of claimants, with respect to any claim. Claims may not be arbitrated on a class or representative basis. The arbitrator can decide only your and/or Island House Hotel, inc’s individual claims. The arbitrator may not consolidate or join the claims of other persons or parties who may be similarly situated.

If any provision of this section is found to be invalid or unenforceable, then that specific provision shall be of no force and effect and shall be severed, but the remainder of this section shall continue in full force and effect. No waiver of any provision of this section of the terms and conditions will be effective or enforceable unless recorded in writing and signed by the party waiving such a right or requirement. Such a waiver shall not waive or affect any other portion of these terms and conditions. This section of the terms and conditions will survive the termination of your relationship with Island House Hotel, inc.

This section limits certain rights, including the right to maintain a court action, the right to a jury trial, the right to participate in any form of class or representative claim, the right to engage in discovery except as provided in aaa rules, and the right to certain remedies and forms of relief. Other rights that you or Island House Hotel, Inc. would have in court also may not be available in arbitration.

These terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Michigan, without giving effect to any conflict of laws rules or provisions.

Under no circumstances will we be held liable for any delay or failure in performance due in whole or in part to any acts of nature or other causes beyond our reasonable control.

If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, then that provision will be deemed severable from these terms and conditions and will not affect the enforceability of any other provisions.
The failure by us to enforce any right or provision of these terms and conditions will not prevent us from enforcing such right or provision in the future.

We may assign our rights and obligations under these terms and conditions, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets or equity, or by operation of law.
