Savoy’s coworkers at the Seabiscuit Café on Mackinac Island banded together with the Callewaerts family to organize a fundraiser. The Callewaerts own the Seabiscuit and a host of other businesses on the island: the Island House Hotel, Ryba’s Fudge Shops, Island House Bike Shop, Starbucks, Mary’s Bistro Draught House, Pancake House, Pine Cottage Bed & Breakfast, 1852 Grill Room, Ice House BBQ.
